ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Village is seeking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant. 22-25 hours per week. Current hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., but we can tailor schedule if needed. Occasional evening meetings. Variety of office duties including, but not limited to: utility billing, accounting duties, assisting with elections and minute taking. Accuracy and organizational skills are a must. CLERK-TREASURER
The Village of Fredonia, population 2,279, is seeking a full-time ambitious, organized and detail-oriented person to fulfill the statutory requirements of Clerk and Treasurer. Excellent customer service is a must. Duties include but are not limited to elections, creation of agenda and meeting minutes, licensing and permits, open records requests and open meetings law, financial activities including budgeting, audit preparation, utility billing, accounts receivable and payable, and tax bill preparation and collection. Human resource including payroll, insurance and pension administration.
This position requires experience in finance and government functions. Certification as municipal clerk or treasurer is preferred or to be obtained within four years.
