HAVA VOTING MACHINE
Help
America
Vote
Act
has required that each municipality be equipped with a
HAVA compliant voting
system. The Village of Fredonia has purchased the
Diebold Accu-Vote Touch Screen Voting Station. This
machine provides accessibility to the widest population
of voters. Voters who are visually-impaired or
non-readers, and those with unique accessibility
requirements can now vote with independence and
privacy. We encourage all voters to try this touch
screen voting system. Our poll workers are trained to
use this machine and would be happy to show you how the
machine works. |
